Sue graduated in 1984 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.  That was about the time oil took a nose dive, and there were no jobs for freshly minted Petroleum Engineers.  She started doing craft shows to help pay the bills. In the meantime, taught herself software development and worked as a Software Engineer for the next twenty years.  All the while continued with craft shows and sewing projects. Soon she started designing her own patterns. After a while, with the encouragement of friends and family, she went to her first Quilt Market.
